In 1995 Bev Livingston and David Dantes came to Maui from California, where they had practiced nursing and medicine, respectively.

Having first visited Hawaii during a family vacation at the age of ten, David had fallen in love with this tropical island -- its intense sky and chiseled mountains, its jungles and rivers, its crystal blue ocean. He was also deeply drawn to the Hawaiian people -- their music and mythology, and most of all their unique style of hospitality. It had been a lifelong dream to move here permanently. When Bev first visited Maui in 1994, it did not take long for her to discover her own connection to this land and its people.

Now that they have made it their home, Bev and David want to share the delights of this paradise with those who are newly discovering it, as well as guests who return again to a place they already know and appreciate. Bev, especially, seeks to embody the Spirit of Aloha: to welcome today's traveler with the same kind of spirit with which they were greeted, and honored, in Ancient Hawaii.
